The Juventus squad has begun preparations for a potential Europa League semi final against Lazio, but the team will not be playing on Sunday as the club was forced to postpone their final preparations ahead of the match due to the virus.
The club had been due to fly to the Italian capital on Saturday to face Lazio on the final day of the Serie A season but due to complications, the match was postponed.
This comes after the news that the club is facing the threat of the virus and that their captain, Simone Zaza, is undergoing tests to determine whether or not he has the virus in his system.
Juventus had planned to play a friendly match against the Ligue 1 side at the Juventus Stadium on Wednesday evening but the match is postponed due to health reasons.
A statement issued by the club read: “The Juventus squad is preparing for a Champions League semifinal against Lazia.”
